Mark Villers

Mark Villers

Here’s Mark..... BUSINESS – Mark got into the mortgage industry in 1999 a bit by accident when he went to work at a mortgage service centre for Barclays & Woolwich where the temporary position turned permanent.

In that time he learnt about mortgage processing and underwriting and became a Team Leader. In 2004 Mark switched the banking side of the desk for that of a mortgage brokerage and learnt new skill sets including mortgage advising and packaging before becoming fully qualified in 2006 and then moving on to opening his first brokerage in 2007. Whilst Mark has seen the highs and lows in the mortgage world including the financial crash back in 2007, he has adapted and evolved with all the changes within the industry over the 20 plus years he’s been in it. He now works alongside his wife Bec and they hope to continue growing their family run brokerage.

Mark loves his position as adviser and openly admits that sitting with clients is the best part of the job as every client is different but every one just as important and securing mortgage products for every client he covers gives him pride in his position.

PLEASURE – Mark’s an Aston Villa fan and season ticket holder so when not at the office will be seen cheering his claret and blue boys on. He enjoys gym and leisure activities and has completed quite a few charity events including, The 3 Peaks climbing challenge in 24 Hours, Coast To Coast 200mile bike ride, Boxing events for many different charities including Children’s Hospital and Cancer Research and generally being active.
